This special video celebrates Carol Leish and her years of dedication to advocating for people with disabilities and helping others recognize their strengths, abilities, and potential. Honored with the Above & Beyond Survivor Award by the Brain Injury Center of Ventura County, Carol has spent much of her life challenging perceptions, breaking down barriers, and reminding people that having a disability doesn’t mean being incapable. Through her advocacy, encouragement, and wonderful sense of humor, Carol continues to inspire others to embrace their capabilities, build confidence, and live life to the fullest. Her message is simple but powerful: People may face challenges, but they are still very capable!
