The upcoming Mental Health Wellness Festival in June will celebrate the completion of May’s National Mental Health Awareness Month. “It’s a grassroots mental health and wellness festival,” according to Josh Carsman, the Marketing/Fund Development Manager at Turning Point Foundation, which is a local non-profit with the mission to improve the quality of life for adults experiencing serious mental illness, addiction, lack of housing and inadequate physical health. “This third annual event’s objective is to raise awareness about mental health and to share mental wellness pathways in our community that support, maintain and/or improve all of our mental health.”
